UNC’s First Student-Run Thrift Shop

Carolina Thrift is a student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to reduce fashion and furniture waste at UNC Chapel Hill! We work to extend the lifespan of second-hand donations by conducting collections of gently-used items from students and hosting a large-scale sale every August. Carolina Thrift’s mission is to encourage socially responsible consumerism, provide financial relief for Chapel Hill, and build Carolina’s community.
